The Brother's Sister & Me

Rolling eye
and tepid smiles.
The road to you
is long, not flat.
I've got burdens on my shoulders
and regrets on my back.
Thinking of you
late at night.
A street puddle shuffles,
cars the stroll on by.
Floating in the distance
I see your face.
Your perfume is lit,
it ignites, it flattens my eyes.
